Today we were supposed to film the battle scenes and the picnic scene. We checked the weather in advanced and it said 'light showers' which we could live with and the chance of it was unlikely. Shaun also changed the time for the actors to be there at 9, which didn't give much time to let the weather settle. So we ended up cancelling the shoot even though the actors turned up (so their expenses will have to be paid now).

Even though the weather cleared up throughout the day, it would have been too muddy to film and was very cold. We will have to film the field scenes sometime this week; it's looking likely that we will film it Thursday.
