I don't know if this is the actual name of the shot, but I have noticed recently, more and more music videos and adverts have used this long pan shot in what looks like one long take, and change locations and actors around it to tell a story. It's quite clever and looks impressive and cinematic. I have no idea how they do it as they obviously couldn't do it all in one take and build a set/house in one big line and get the actors to slow down their movements. It would be interesting to look into and I'd like to film something like this one day.
